Why, yes, add two islands obsessed with destroying each other's palm trees and you've got one explosive recipe for fun! You can play Island Wars 2 in one of 5 different modes: In 'Invasion', you defend your island against the enemy invading forces, fighting your way through 50 waves of increasing difficulty. In 'Duel', you fight over control of your palm trees in a one-on-one war where you attack the enemy island while defending your own, before finally resolving the conflict by an epic dogfight showdown. In 'Challenge', you fight through 10 opposing islands of increasing difficulty. In 'Balloon Pop', you're in a race against time to collect as many bonuses as possible. Finally, in 'Free-For-All', you can customize the game to your liking by making your own game rules!
